We acquired Kauai Gourmet Roasters so we could work with Hawaiian coffee farmers to bring 100% Hawaiian coffee to consumers at a reasonable price.

We roast our Supreme 100% Hawaiian coffee in small batches on Kauai and we will always ship freshly-roasted coffee.

We are fortunate to be located just a short drive from the largest single coffee farm in not only Hawaii, but all of America. Kauai coffee stands out from other Hawaiian beans, bucking the trends of high altitude growing conditions in favour of a drier lower altitude environment. The unique growing environment produces a robust and rich coffee that stands up to demand attention. 

Kona is home to arguably the best coffees the world has to offer. We partner with Greenwell farms, the family owned business which has its roots in Hawaii's original coffee farming era dating back to around 1850. Greenwell farms have been a cornerstone of the Kona coffee community for generations, consistently supplying high quality coffee beans. We pass that history on to you by applying our own roasting magic. From the exploding aromas when you crack open our bags, through to the sweet tones of fruits and chocolate. You can expect your cup to deliver a silky smooth, clean experience, as unique as it is delicious.  

Smooth, gentle, sweet with low acidity - that's the target profile for our medium roast Maui coffee. We selected a Yellow Caturra bean from the award winning Ka’anapali Estate located on the West Maui Mountains near the historic town of Lahaina. The farm at Ka`anapali Estate is operated by Maui Grown, a fantastic operation that continues to produce award winning coffees year after year.  The Maui Yellow Caturra makes an incredibly sweet cold brew if you are that way inclined...

Our Espresso blend leans towards the spicy side. Rich and thick, with aromas, bursting with intense dark chocolate and subtle cinnamon flavours. To extract the most out of this tropical fruit flavor bomb, grind fine but take care not to don't overheat. Stunning as a short shot to get the blood flowing, or enjoy mixed with hot or cold milk.

Hawaiian coffees lose their charm when roasted to that smoky deep intense place we call dark. So, we chose to take a blend of international beans that maintain Hawaiian characteristics when roasted through the second crack to dark. We bring it to you in fresh, small batches.

For those who prefer a slightly darker roast, our KGR Breakfast Blend Regal, using the robust coffees of Central and South America, provides a deeper flavor profile than their light and sweet Hawaiian cousins.

We roast our Regal House Blend coffee in small batches on Kauai so that you know we will always ship freshly-roasted coffee.

A 10% Hawaiian blend roasted to a medium roast. This is another of our best sellers on Kauai.The Regal blend is a great way to start the day, our breakfast blend. 

3. KGR 10% Kona Blend.
Another popular one with the Kauai locals. Our Kona Blend is a blend of very smooth Kona Coffee with a fine international coffee, roasted to a medium roast.

4. KGR Black Pot blend.
An international blend that maintains Hawaiian characteristics when roasted through its second crack to a delicious dark roast.

We use a Swiss water decaf method on a Brazilian bean to deliver you a medium roasted decaf coffee experience.
